Summertime!

Well it is officially summer, and we are pretty excited about it! We have been taking Cam to the pool to cool off on these hot summer days.
The first time he did not like it at all. The second time was with our friend Mandi, and he just dipped his feet in but was not to excited about actually getting in. This morning we made it a point to get him all the way in to see if he would get used to it. He did!!

We put him in a baby float and he cried at first...but who wouldn't? Those of us raised in Arizona are pool wimps and we have to have it 90 degrees to be comfortable!

Once he got used to the water (which actually was perfect) he liked it a little more. Wes pushed him all around in his little float and he would whimper on and off.

Eventually my dad took him out and pushed him around the water as if he were swimming, I think he enjoyed it even more! He would stare at the water as he moved through it.

So after that, Wes and I enjoyed pushing and pulling him all around the pool...so much for the pool float!!

After a nice swim we laid him out on a beach towel, and took off his clothes and diaper...let me tell you, there is nothing a baby likes more than laying out in the great outdoors in his birthday suit! He loved every second of it.

We even let him lay around until he had a good pee, we all cheered and took pictures as he created his own little fountain. Don't worry, those won't be posted on this blog, but they will come out someday when he brings his girlfriend over.

We enjoyed every minute of our morning at the pool. We think it is going to be our new summer tradition. Spend Sunday mornings at the pool, then relax and go to the evening service at church. We love our church's evening service, but we normally can't go during the school year because Wes is busy studying.
So come join us, as we enjoy our days at the pool this summer.
Camden is sure excited about it! He loves summer!!!
