3 Months

3 Months Old

Camden,

You, my first born, are already 3 months old. You are changing and becoming such a big boy right in front of our eyes. You don’t look at all like a newborn anymore, and many people think you are a few months older than you really are. You are growing like a weed, you moved up a size in diapers (now in size 3), and you are wearing 6 month old clothes, and even a few 9 month old onesies and pajamas. I can’t believe it! We are on the last package of diapers we received for your baby shower, so now I have to actually start buying diapers for you...let me tell you, it has been nice going a full 3 months without having to buy any.

This month you have become so much more vocal. You talk your baby talk constantly! You still love to play on your activity mat, and you talk constantly when you are on it. We still put you on your tummy, but you never roll over any more...I am not sure why! I think you just like being on your tummy now, so you don’t roll. You just lay there and suck on your hand or fall asleep. Speaking of sucking on your hand, you have discovered your fingers, and they are always in your mouth, and you sometimes actually suck on your thumb. It is adorable. You are also a drooling machine, we are starting to think bibs might be your new fashion statement.

It is also so fun to nurse you, you still have never had a bottle (except the one time Grammy babysat, but you didn’t like it at all, and didn’t really eat), and I love that! I feed you at every feeding, and I absolutely love that time with you. I still have an abundance of milk for you, which I am sure is the reason you are such a chunk! You are sleeping between 8 and 8.5 hours a night, and we love it! The only problem is, I wake up every morning after about 7 hours, because I am bursting with milk...so I have to get up and pump to relieve the pain, and you are still sound asleep.

You are also becoming pretty attached to Mama. There are times when all you want is to be held, and not just by anyone. Sometimes other people will hold you, but you won’t stop crying until you are in my arms. :) Ahhh it melts this Mama’s heart. You can also find me in a room, and you sometimes stare at me with your beautiful blue eyes. I totally love it.

You love shower time with Dad, and you just scream when I take you out. I can’t wait until you are big enough to play in the bath tub, I have a feeling you are going to love the water, and will never get out. We are also sitting you in the Bumbo more often, and you can sit up and hold your head so well...if you keep it up, then starting next month we can give you some cereal while sitting in your Bumbo! How fun will that be?

Camden, thank you for being such a fun and easy going baby. We can literally take you anywhere we go, and you are always so happy or you just sleep through our outings. We just love you to pieces! We are having the time of our lives being your parents and I think I am getting baby fever again. I just love all the time we have with you, and I look forward to giving you many brothers and sisters.

We love you Mishter Cam!
