in the last month or so....

 in the last month {or 2}, we have been so busy. 

Here is a short list of things we have done:

Took some pictures of Grayson to use on his first birthday invite.

Our {theme} was bow ties. I use the term "theme" lightly, because I don't like themes, so I typically just do fun colors and patterns and add a little touch of a theme...like the bow tie.

We have gone on a few family bike rides now that the weather is beautiful here in Phoenix.

We have played outside a ton!! And even took a few trips to the zoo.

Wes had a little time off, which was much needed!! We were able to go out on a few dates which were so refreshing!

Wes competed in his first half ironman.

70.3 miles total! 

He is amazing.

 We spent a weekend in {chilly} Prescott as just our family of 4. Such a fun and relaxing getaway. We visited an adorable pumpkin patch, and we were the only ones there that day.

On the day we came home from Prescott, we stopped by the pumpkin patch one last time to take a few family photos for our Christmas card. My parents happened to be coming up to Prescott for the weekend, so they met us at the pumpkin patch. My mom doesn't quite know how to use our fancy camera, so I would set the camera, tell her how I wanted the shot, and she would shoot it. She did an amazing job!! We got some adorable family pictures and some perfect ones to use for our Christmas card.

And last...2 weekends ago we celebrated Grayson's first birthday. His real birthday is not for another week, but we had to celebrate it early because of Wesley's schedule. 

and that is the quick version of our lives right now. 

Also, I just purchased more picture storage for my blog, I had run out and couldn't load any more pictures until I did. So now my blog is ready for updates and pictures like crazy!! So glad I finally got that all settled.
