Grayson

We went in for an ultrasound this morning to check on Grayson's measurements. At my last doctor's appointment my belly was measuring about 2 weeks smaller than I was supposed to be. They sent me for a growth ultrasound just to make sure Grayson was still getting the nutrition and blood supply that he needs to grow. He is in fact doing just fine!!! He measured about 6 days smaller than where he should be, and in pregnancy terms that is nothing. Everything is an estimate with pregnancy, so a week or so off is no big deal. He actually has measured a little on the small side since the beginning, and lets just say a little baby would be just fine with me. So after checking him out, we discovered he is head down, and his little bum is up near my ribs. He had his hands all around his face the entire time which was how Camden was in the ultrasounds we had of him. He is so sweet and it was so much fun to see him again. Hopefully we have no other worries for the remainder of my pregnancy and the next time we see him is when we hold him in our arms.

Dear sweet baby Grayson,

We are sooo excited for your arrival. Your big brother Camden is going to be so excited to meet you and to have a buddy he can play with all the time. We know that you and him are going to grow up to be such great friends. Your Dad and I just can not believe we are going to be the parents of two adorable little boys. We are hoping you have red hair just like your big brother, although we won't be mad if you don't. From the pictures we have seen of you, you are the most handsome little thing, and I can not wait to see you in person. Your brother will tell you that I have a little bit of a problem in that I LOVE to smother my babies in kisses. You are no exception, it is just something you will have to get used too...don't worry, I promise I won't kiss you in front of your friends when you start school. (wink wink). You have a lot of family who is so excited to meet you as well. We really do have the best Grandparents awaiting your arrival, and they too might smother you...it runs in the family, and you will be used to it in no time. You have been such a pleasant baby to carry for these last 7 months, and although this pregnancy has been tough (mostly because I have your big brother to chase after) you have been wonderful. I love every thing about you, and I love feeling you move all around my tummy. I am going to miss those moments that I get to share with just you. We pray for you each night, and we just hope the Lord will bless you with great health, that we will be wise and godly parents to you, and that you will someday make the same decision to accept Christ into your heart that your Dad and I made many years ago. We love you so much baby Gray, and the day I get to hold you is fast approaching, and I can not wait!!!

Love Always and Forever,
Mama
