Camden's First Wedding

This is Camden at his very first wedding. He was a bit fussy at the ceremony, and it had only been an hour since he last ate, so he was of course hungry! Haha (he normally waits about 3 hours)
Thankfully we were in a church that had a cry room, so we sat in the cry room and Camden nursed during the entire ceremony. It ended up being so funny because before the groom and his groomsmen went out on stage, they passed through the cry room where Wes and I were. I have never seen a groom before the ceremony starts. It was so funny because him and his groomsmen acted just like kids, making fun of each other, grabbing the toys in the cry room and playing with them...but as soon as it was time to walk out, they put on their game faces and looked very poised as they entered the ceremony. It was pretty funny!

Well Cam did great, he finished eating when the ceremony ended, so we headed out of the cry room, changed his diaper in the back of our car, and went to the reception. He was all the rage during the cocktail hour. He sat on our laps and all the ladies at the wedding came up and just went on and on about how cute he was. I can't tell you how many people guessed his age to be 6 months! (FYI, the outfit he was wearing is a 9 month) He is such a big boy, people laugh when I say he is only 3 months (which that is not even true, not for another week) We even had one lady reach down to take him from Wesley's arms while she was asking if she could hold him. How could we say no? He was already in her arms by the time she finished asking. It is so funny how many people ask to hold your baby, when they don't even know you! When the cocktail hour was finishing up, Camden decided it was time to eat again. So Wes and I found a very comfy spot outside by a fire pit overlooking the golf course and I nursed him again. The reception was starting inside and we could hear all the intros, music, and cheering. We of course missed all of it...again! But I guess that is what happens with a baby :)

We did make it into the reception, just in time for dinner! Camden was now pretty tired, which made the rest of the evening so enjoyable. He slept in his little carrier, and we enjoyed our dinner and watching all the happenings at the wedding. We did go on the dance floor for one dance, and we took Cam with us. He slept through the entire dance, and the music didn't even startle him. He ended up sleeping nearly 3 hours at the reception, and I was afraid he wouldn't sleep when we brought him home...but I was wrong! He slept a full 8 and a half hours last night!! AMAZING! I can't tell you how much I treasure our full nights of sleep.

Ready to eat again
How cute is his little fussy face?!

He sounds just like Landon at that age (except for the good sleeping part, we had a difficult time with that). Landon was a very big boy for his age and people always guessed he was older than his real age. He also ate pretty much every hour if not more than every hour. It can be draining but dont worry, as Camden gets older he'll become so active with toys that he will want to play and not nurse as much.
