I have been so busy lately, and it is hard to say exactly what I have been doing. I want to blog more often, but I have a hard time sitting down at the computer. When I am on the computer, I am usually nursing, so I only have 1 free hand and I would really struggle blogging that way. When I am not nursing I love to hold Cam as much as I can, and when not holding him, I am getting things done around the house.
I can say that being a Mom to Camden is a dream come true. I have waited my entire life to be a Mom, and I am so blessed that I am able to have my baby and be able to stay home with him right now. Wesley and I have been talking more and more about work and if or when I will go back. We obviously don't have an endless supply of savings, but I am willing to give up things in our life to save money and create the possibility for me to stay home. It is pretty tough because Wesley is a full time medical student, so he has no opportunity to work. Basically we would be living off of the loans we get because Wes is a full time student. We know it is possible because a few of Wesley's friends from school have wives that stay home, and they can make it work. We just need to be smart with our finances, and budget out exactly what we make and what we can spend. I don't want to write to much more about this, I do not like to think about money to much, it is one of the only things in life that stresses me out. Anyways, if you think of it, please pray for us that we will make wise decisions about work, and that we will do what is best for our family, and for Camden, he is our top priority.
Another great thing about being a mom is all the new relationships I have formed with other moms. I have had a great time going on "mom dates" to the zoo, coffee, and each others homes. There is something so fun about gathering with other moms, we have a special bond that only moms understand. We love comparing stories and giving each other advice about our experiences. I am so blessed to have so many mom friends, and soon to be mom friends. I think these friendships are ones that will last a long time. I am already trying to set up Camden's future wife...oh wait, he is already betrothed to Mikayla Campbell! We can't wait to meet you Mikayla :)
And now for a quick Camden update. He is sleeping 7+ hours each night, which I am loving! We have a routine each night that we stick too, and I think he has it all figured out. He is also starting to smile so much more and sometimes he even laughs, which is the cutest! He is getting so big, and is now wearing 3-6 month old clothes. He is such a joy...hopefully I will have time for a longer Camden blog soon! Time to start our bedtime routine :)
Goodnight!
