It now feels like I am getting bigger and bigger each day! I am also starting to use my stretch cream on a daily basis, just in case. I think I am growing quicker now, because all of a sudden my skin has been really itchy around my belly and back. I am pretty sure the skin is prepping itself to streeetch!!!
I am also excited to finally announce that I have been feeling little kicks for about a week and a half! I felt it for the first time while sitting at my desk at work. It was the best feeling ever. It sort of tickled, and I was laughing, then I started crying because I was so excited. After that I didn't feel any for almost a week. Then, at the end of last week, I felt it a few more times. The best was on Sunday at church, while we were singing I felt little tiny flutters for about 3 minutes. It was so great. It just melts my heart to feel this little miracle. I can not wait until Wesley can also feel them. He puts his hand on my tummy when I feel them, but they are so light, there is no way he could feel them yet.
I finally feel like the time is flying. It was a slow start, but now I am getting so close to the half way point. I can't even believe it. During our appointment this week we will be setting the date for the big ultrasound. I am so excited to find our what this little one is! We are going to be at the appointment together, and then get all of our family together that night and tell them all at once what we are having! So don't feel bad if I don't announce it right away. We have to tell the family first...or course! And as far as the names go, we have a few girl names we like, but we haven't finalized anything. Boy names, now that one is tough. We are having such a hard time coming up with a name we both love. So if this little one is a boy, we may start asking for suggestions! I had no idea it would be so hard.
And...hopefully we can get going on the nursery. I can't wait to show all of my design ideas. As soon as we know what it is, project nursery will be underway!!
