Let's Celebrate!

As of Thursday, Wesley is officially done with the first 2 years of medical school (2 to go) and he finished taking both of his board exams (1 for MD residencies, and 1 for DO residencies). We decided that we would love to get away for a night and enjoy some quality time together. So we booked a room at the Hotel Valley Ho and it was a great weekend. My parents kept Camden for the night, and he was spoiled beyond belief (of course that is to be expected when staying with Grandparents). Wes and I were able to go out to lunch at my favorite place, the Nordstrom cafe, prior to checking in at the hotel. After lunch we walked around the mall for a bit, but being the pregnant woman I am, I preferred to check into the hotel to take a nap instead of shopping. So we checked in early and made it to our room in time for me to snuggle up in the comfy bed for a nap.

My nap was short, but sweet. After that we went out to Old Town for a bit and looked around. Then we picked up some dinner, took it back to our room and sat by our patio watching a wedding right outside our room. It was such a fun evening! We ended up renting a movie and relaxing the rest of the night. The perfect evening for us to share together. In the morning we went to the hotel cafe for breakfast, then headed to the pool before it got too hot out.
After we swam and laid out for a while we headed back to our room. I got ready while Wes went and worked out. We soon had to check out, but we were ready because we completely missed Camden and we couldn't wait to see him.

After this fun, relaxing weekend, we feel refreshed and reconnected. I love my husband, and I loved having some alone time together. We felt like newlyweds and we felt like we relived what our life was like before we had kids. A great weekend reminiscing and just enjoying each other. I look forward to many more celebrations with my husband.

And here is the 19 week belly...pre swim and then after getting all fixed up. Not sure there is any difference, but I am just liking the pictures since I have a nice natural tan...well a nice, natural, organic airbrush tan! How great is that? Every pregnant woman needs an airbrush tan, it makes you feel way thinner and less...well...pregnant.
