Yesterday was my Dad's birthday and my mom and I had a few things scheduled to do. Since Wes was at school studying we asked my Dad if he wanted to come watch Camden for a little while. (You know, as a birthday gift to him) He of course wanted to, and he was so excited to finally get some Papa/Grandson time together. We had no idea what he had planned, but apparently he didn't just want to sit home and play, he wanted to go and do "guy things". He wouldn't tell us where he was going, but he promised to take pictures! So with that, he was off and we were excited to see the pictures when he got back. This is the first picture he sent us. Sorry for the low quality, he took them with his cell phone.
If you don't know where this is...it is Cabela's! How perfect for a guys day out. He said Camden loved to look at the fish in the aquarium.
Then he threw him into a pit of fish. He loved it until he started sinking in.
He taught him how to drive
Then how to hunt. He of course had to buy him a camo hat and paci so the animals wouldn't see him.
Scoping out his next kill.
Lounging after a long day of hunting with his Papa
Mr. Moose offered to give him a ride
But before leaving he had to get the elephant he had been waiting for all day.
Thanks Papa for such a fun day at Cabela's, we need to do it again sometime!

awww, your dad is so sweet! He has good skills too taking him out and all! My dad is watching Kaiden for the first time by himself tonight. He's going to have him for 5 hours and they are going to build an airplane. :) Karilee
How absolutely adorable is this? I love seeing grandpa's loving on their grandkids. And I love that he was having so much fun and actually took a ton of pictures documenting their day! So sweet
