How is it possible that we have a 6 month old? I can not even believe how old he is! He is half way to his first birthday party...which I am already planning, obviously!!
This has been the best month so far. Camden is changing every day! We just love each day with him. Right now he is staring at me with his perfect blue eyes and giving me smiles while he plays in his exersaucer...he is just so interactive now.
This month Camden started rolling all over. He rolls all the way across the rug but he only rolls to his right side, so hopefully soon he can roll the other way so he can end up back where I left him. He always rolls a lot at night and usually stops on his tummy somewhere in his crib and sleeps that way all night. It is fun to go in his room every morning and see what position he ended up him.
He has also started eating a lot more foods. He still despises baby cereal, so we are over that. We have moved on to bigger and better foods! Avocado, bananas, and sweet potatoes are the mash he has had so far...but he has also had cantaloupe, watermelon and grapes in his mesh feeder. I am making all his food, which is very easy, cheap and fun! I just throw it in my food processor and wa la!
He is very interested in every food we eat, and he is constantly reaching for our food and drinks. A few nights ago Wesley gave him the cup we use to wash his hair, he put clean water in it and Cam took it and totally drank out of it like he knew exactly what he was doing. It is amazing how quick they pick up on things!
Camden also loves to stand. I am hoping this means he will walk soon ;) I doubt it, but I am so excited that he can hold his weight, since there is a lot of it.
He went on his first plane trip...he did amazing! My mother in law and I could not get over how easy he was. We really had nothing to worry about. I am so thankful for a good baby who never cries and goes with the flow in every situation. He has made my intro to mommyhood so enjoyable and makes me long for more babies just like him.
Cam is getting very close to sitting by himself. He can hold himself up for almost a minute before he topples over.
We are also still trying to get him to giggle again. He still does little laughs, but none like the giggle we got on video here.
Ok, well our little munchkin is desperate for some mommy attention, so that is all for now! He has his 6 month check up today, so we will post his stats later this evening!
