Camden decided this would be the month to grow up in so many ways! He is eating food, rolling over like crazy, upgraded to a new car seat, and is starting preschool...Haha, ok so he isn't starting preschool yet, but I can't get over how quick he is growing up. Since we have such a big boy, we started to feel bad cramming him into his infant car seat. It does hold babies up to 30 lbs, but there is no way Camden would have made it past 20 lbs in that thing. So Wes and I started researching the best "big kid" car seat to get for Cam. This is no easy task. There are car seats for $100 and others for $400...so how do you decide? We didn't want to buy the cheapest car seat just because we are penny pinchers, but we did want to get something safe, reliable, and affordable for our wallet. After looking around on the internet, we decided to go to Babies R Us to see some of our favorites in person. My favorite was the Britax (ah hem, $400) and also the Safety First Complete Air.
Wes was hesitant for the Air car seat because it was $250 which was still a little much. That was, until we went to Babies R Us. The Safety First car seat, specifically the orange one we wanted was on sale, plus all of their sale items were an additional 25% off, plus we used a coupon for 20% off. This ended up costing us $98!! Amazing deal! It was a no brainer at that point. I think the orange color may be getting discontinued or something because they had the same car seat in black and it was no on sale at all. So we are so excited about this new car seat. Camden loves it so far, and he has so much more room. Plus, it is a convertible car seat which means he will be able to use it for the rest of his car seat years.

He looks so cute in it! What a big boy!! I can't believe he's in a big carseat already! Makes me wanna cry! Our boys are growing up so fast and I'm bring one of those annoying sappy moms again! *tear* :)
Whoa girl, you got a STEAL on that carseat! 4 months before Enoch turned one I had decided that the Safety First was the car seat we were going to get. I watched numerous sales until finally bought it when I saw it the cheapest it had been by far (and this was when they first came out, so they were rarely on sale, and all $250+). I ended up getting it for $180. I've since seen it as low as $140 and cringe a little bit, but we had to get it when we did since Enoch was almost one. But I'm so excited that you got that thing for $98! That's so freaking awesome!
