It's a.....

BOY!!!!

We could not be more excited about the sweet baby boy growing in my tummy. We are 100% sure he is a boy, he had his legs spread wide open with a clear shot. We are such proud parents, haha! Our baby boy is going to be named....

Camden David High

We had our big ultrasound! Camden measured perfect and we are right on track, he measured 19 weeks & 1 day. He seems to be developing just as he should. During the ultrasound we were able to see so many amazing things. We could see his heartbeat (160 bpm) and all 4 ventricles of the heart. We saw the two hemispheres of his brain, all of his bones, and spine, his sweet little hands and feet, and his beautiful face. He was cooperating so well that our tech was able to switch to 3D and get us a few pictures of his face. I have to say, he is the most handsome little boy I have ever seen! He had his thumb in his mouth (adorable) and his other arm lifted above his head. Also, sitting right in front of his face was his little foot. He was all folded in half. As soon as we saw our little man, we fell instantly in love. We have already been so in love with our child, but now we feel like we have come to know our child better. We now know we are having a son, and we now refer to him as Camden and no longer as baby!

Wesley and I talked about Camden all afternoon and evening. Wesley is very excited to have a son to be able to carry on the High family name. Camden also shares the same middle name as his daddy. And being a doting mommy and wife, as soon as I saw the 3D picture of Cam's face, I thought he looked just like Wesley. Seriously! He has the same narrow face and perfect bone structure. I am so in love.

So now the fun can begin. I can now choose everything for our nursery, and register for tons of baby boy stuff. I am so excited! This is going to be so much fun.

To tell our families the big news, we decided to copy the idea of how Wesley proposed. Wes made me a plate at a pottery painting store. On the bottom of the plate he wrote out "Moriah, I love you" and on the front side of the plate he wrote "Will You Marry Me?"



So we decided to make a plate after our doctors appt. On the bottom of this plate it said, "It's A..." and we added a Fleur De Lis (mommy's touch). On the front side we painted it all blue and wrote "BOY", with little booties. We are going to save this plate and hopefully find a place for it in the nursery.




Well we are so thrilled. We will have more fun updates soon, such as nursery and other fun boy stuff.
