Well, there it is. My 9 week belly has not changed a bit (from the outside). I don't look much bigger to most people, but some of my pants have started feeling a bit tight. Like tight enough that I may (or always) have to unbutton them when I sit for a certain length of time. I am feeling really good right now too!! Last week was pretty bad, I had a bad week full of nausea and grouchiness. But Saturday night everything seemed to take a turn for the better. I actually ate 3 meals on Saturday, and by the time evening came, I was not even exhausted (following a 6 day work week).
It is really nice to feel a little better now, I am no longer nauseous, praise God! I do still have issues with food though. I seem to struggle every day at lunch time. My dilemma is this...in the morning, no food sounds good except cereal, so I do not pack myself a lunch because I don't think I can stomach making a chicken sandwich or something worth taking to work that early in the morning. So then, when I am at work and lunch time rolls around, I sit and debate for nearly an hour about what sounds good, and where I can get it from. My co workers are really good, they all gather around and throw out a million ideas (many of which I make a grossed out face to) and try to help me decide. I know this is really annoying, and I feel so bad for being a picky eater all of a sudden. I mean gosh, I don't even feel sick anymore, but I still can only tolerate certain things.
So right now our little baby is about the size of a grape. All of the essential body parts are accounted for, and now the baby just has a lot of growing to do!! (all according to babycenter.com) We have our next doctor appointment in a week and a half. We are so excited to see our little baby again. It is so comforting to see the baby and know everything is growing just as it should be.
And just so you know....we have started the nursery, and we are very close to finishing a few of the things we already started in there!! Eeek I am so excited. Wesley wanted to get a few things done in there before he started school. I would post pictures, but we want to keep it a secret until we find out the sex of our little one.
I think that is all for now. We have an exciting week coming up. Wesley starts school on Tuesday! Woo Hoo!! After the huge long process of getting into medical school, we are officially at the starting line. 4 years and we will have Dr. High in our household.
Thanks for reading,
Moriah (pround wife and mamma!)
