9 Months
Grayson has officially been out of my tummy for as long as he was inside my tummy.
Can not believe how quickly his first birthday is approaching. Such an exciting and also sad time for a Mom. It is always fun to see your kids grow up, but it is sad how fast the time goes.
This month has been a very fun one with Grayson. He literally melts me into a puddle on a daily basis. His little 6 tooth grin could turn anyone into straight mush. Sometimes I just can not believe how blessed we are with our boys.
One thing I was so thankful for this month was that his milestones slowed down a little bit. Thank goodness!! This kid literally does a new thing every week, and this past month he finally slowed down, which gave me a little break.
Here is what happened this past month:
He still only has 6 teeth. However the drool now pours out of his mouth, even more now than when he got in his first 6 teeth. So now I don't know if he is actually teething or if he just enjoys drooling as much as his 2 1/2 year old brother does. Cam literally still drools even after getting in all his teeth. grr!! I am so over the drool fest in our house.
He LOVES food. Any food. If we have it, he wants it! He feeds himself, and he does so by the handfuls. I am pretty sure he is always starving...just like Camden was. How am I ever going to afford feeding these 2 big boys?
He is still a great sleeper like he was last month. Typically he goes to bed around 6:30, and wakes up around 6:30 or 7. He takes a good morning and afternoon nap. It is nice that he is on a great schedule!
He walks all along the furniture, and he is now starting to climb anything and everything. All boy!
He can wave hi.
He still loves his paci, and now he loves his blankie. When I put him to bed I always nurse him, and immediately after he is done nursing he opens his mouth for his paci, then reaches up his arm to grab his blankie and snuggle it in close to his face. He's so sweet.
He still nurses before sleep times, and sometimes when he wakes up. He is usually to busy to nurse if we are out and about, so I just pump and bring the milk with us. He is getting much better at holding a bottle too. Poor kid doesn't get much practice with a bottle, but he is getting better at it.
He has discovered his voice. He loves to gab all day long, and even gabs while he falls asleep.
He loves when Dada comes home from work. He gets all silly and chases Wes around the house.
He is obsessed with Wesley's bike. When Wes brings it inside to work on, Grayson has to touch it or else he will throw a little tantrum. It is very funny!!
He LOVES Camden and would spend all day next to him if he could.
He has started wrestling Camden when Cam lays on the ground. Its so cute to see brothers together.
He loves to chew on his toesies.
