2 Months Old
Our sweet little Gray Gray is 2 months old and changing right before our eyes.
He had his check up yesterday and he weighed in at 11 lbs 12 oz and is 24-1/4" long. He is such a tall kiddo. Camden weighed nearly 2 lbs more than him at this age and was 1" shorter, he was obviously a bit more of a chunk. We love Grayson being a more of a peanut, even though he is long, I love that he still feels like a baby.
Here are the things he did this past month:
- Rolled over for the first time at 5 weeks old, exactly the same time that Camden did.
- Sleeps a good 5 hour stretch at night, then eats, then another 3.
- He moved into his own room, and it has worked out perfect.
- He is wearing 3 month old clothes now, and although he doesn't fill them out, he is almost too long for them.
- He smiles like crazy and loves to talk in baby babble.
- He loves tummy time and just chills, sometimes even falls asleep.
- He can hold his little head up so well, and even does good sitting in his bumbo.
- He is smitten with his paci.
- He loves car rides, and loves to stare out the window.
- His hair is coming in so much thicker and it is totally red.
- His swaddle is his favorite and it quiets him down if he is ever fussy.
- He is a total Mama's boy (LOVE)
- He enjoys taking showers with his Dada, but he HATES getting out.
- He nurses very fast and makes a ton of noise when he eats.
- He hates to get his clothes and diapers changed.
- The boy has gas...enough said!
- He only poops about twice a week (again...LOVE)
- He got locked in the car for the first time...a very proud Mom moment for me!
- He sits in the big boy seat of the stroller when we go on walks, and he loves to look up at the sky.
- His big brother is pretty in love with him and loves to give him his "patchy" (paci)
- He went on his first trip to Prescott where we are living for a month while Dada works at the hospital here.
- He rarely cries, we are so blessed with a VERY easy going baby.
Grayson,
Your Dad and I are so in love with you. We love everything about you and we are so thankful that you are such a healthy boy. We often talk about the days we spent with you in the NICU and we will never forget the blessing that you are to us. Even when I get little to no sleep, I wake up each morning excited to see your beautiful face. I adore you and you are worth more to me than a full night of sleep. I am so proud to be your Mom and I love to show you off. You are our pride and joy.
